Hi-I hope someone can help me with this one... we just moved into our house in August and the builder has a basement rough-in for a lavatory. There is a large (18" x 18") square hole with gravel in it-I think called a tub dapout. About a week ago this hole was filled, and somewhat overflowing, with water. Now, we do have snow on the ground and it is melting. But today, it overflowed enough to somewhat flood that corner of the basement. When we first noticed it we called our builder and he said there was nothing to do about it-but I am not buying that now that all this water is in our basement. Could someone please let me know if this is "normal" or if there is something to be done on the part of the builder to fix this. Thanks!
