Hotmail Format Characters

I'm getting some strange characters in me emails when I receive mail also when I save my messages some examples below:-

<DIV class=RTE>It's just got cold here. The heating in my flat is not very good. Only 2 of the rooms have air con one is broken the other is not very effective. They have given me an small electric fan which is good but the flat always feels cold even though I have the temp set at 29C.</DIV>

Looks like someone tried to send you an HTML e-mail and either your e-mail client isn't reading it or something else happened during transmittal.

Looks like HOTMAIL is not picking up the HTML in the email that you have been sent or it could just be that there was a problem in the senders system.

All that stuff your seeing is all over this page, but because your computer is reading it you don't see it, unless there is a problem.
