Hi, I was wondering if you could advise me concerning my current education situation. I'm a sophomore tunring into a junior at Rowan University and I was pursuing a major in English and certification to be a teacher. I wanted to be a high school or middle school English/Literature teacher, but I wasn't accepted into the program and then they changed all the education credits and classes around, menaing that some classes weigh more than others now and they have different names and since I wasn't accepted into the program, I now am just pursuing a degree in pure English and a minor in art. My advisor told me I could re-apply for the teaching program in January/February and see if I got accepted and after I graduated with my english degree, come back and finsh up my education credits or go to Wilmington college in Delaware and take my master's in teaching in about two years. Do you have any advice on what would be the best route for me to take? I also now am wondering whether it's really worth it to pursue teaching and what else do you think I could do with a degree in english and a minor in art? Thanks a lot
