Ok so My guy is in the marine corp and I know the best way to get pregnant is to have sex everyday and blah blah blah. But every time he comes home we have unprotected sex and I haven't become pregnant YET so I'm starting to get worried.But I don't really want to go to the doctor... Is there something I can buy or do at my own home? If anyone has any ideas or knows get back to me... This sucks I'm getting really worried... HELP!
I was told by my doctor that I probably would never get pregnant. He did tell me to go to a specialist but since I wasn't really looking to have kids I didn't really care so I never went. Instead I just assumed that I couldn't get pregnant and went off the birth control. Two years later I got pregnant (I'm almost positive I was the one doing the ridding when it happened, if that is any help). My point is it just may not be the right time even if you want it to be. If you're really serious about getting pregnant you should go to the doctor and bring your guy with you….it may not be you that is the problem.
I was married and living with my husband, and it still took almost four years to get pregnant.
How long have you been trying?
The main thing is to avoid stress and letting your body get all tied up in knots. Be kind to yourself and don't be preoccupied with a baby. "A watched pot never boils."
Are your periods regular or irregular? You need to keep track of you cycles, because that would help you pinpoint when you are ovulating. If you and your partner are not b/d when you are ovulating, then chances are that you won't conceive. If you are regular then I am sure that you ovulate anywhere between 10-14days before your next period is suppose to start. If you are irregular then that part is going to be a bit difficult. B/D when you see that egg white mucous. When you see that then chances are that you are ovulating. If you have irregular periods then chances are that you are not ovulating and there are pills to help with that. If you want to get you periods back on track naturally than there is a herb called"Vitex" and that is suppose to regulate your periods. I took 2 capsules of 100mlg everyday, except when I started my period, and it helped me with my periods.
Wow thanks for all the great information! It's hard to go to the doctor when he's never here.. But the for mlopez84 is that pill otc? Like can I get it from wal-mart? Because I just came off my period and it was only three DAYS!! It's never been that short! :confused: But I really like everything yawls told me.. We've been trying since last January... I think Im worring about it too much.. He won't be home until next christmas TEAR so I have penlty of time to figure things out lol... THANKS ncgal123

Where you successful with the help you received? What were your circumstances, if you don't mind me asking? I have a doctors. appt. at the end of this month. I am considering going on clomid. Do you know anything about that? Please let me know. I have a past history of irregular cycles, and last doctors. appt. I went to took blood tests for prolactin, free test, total test and tsh, and they were all in the normal range.Quote:

Just like fr_chuck said having sex everyday hurts your chances. Since you don't want to go to the doctor you could go to wal-mart and buy an ovulation predictor kit and do that for a couple months to make sure you are ovulating. I was told by my gyno that I might have polycystic ovarian syndrome... in other words I don't ovulate... he wasn't completely sure so I did the ovulation predictor kit and sure enough I wasn't ovulating. So first make sure you are ovulating... if you are then most likely either he's shooting shorts or the timing isn't right. Good luck! :)
Well I made a doctors appt. on the 24th so hopefully everything goes right... And I'll say something to him about maybe seeing a doctor sometime just to make sure it isn't him! But I'll go to a health shop to check on those vitamins... But like a I said it means a lot to me that yawl are helping me out..
