Living in PA working in NJ
Hello, I am planning to move to PA while working for my employer based in NJ. Would I have to pay taxes for NJ state, PA state or both.

    John:

    Your company's location is irrevelent.

It is where YOU work and live that determines which state taxes you owe.

You owe taxes to the state in which you live on ALL income earned.

You owe taxes to the state in which you work for the income earned within that state's border.

Your home state will give you a credit for the taxes paid to the working state so you will not be taxed TWICE on the same income.
