    Service Panel Upgrade
I have a permit and authorization to upgrade to a 200 Amp Service Panel. There may be a need to extend the house wires in the service panel to reach the new breakers. What is a approved connection/connector to extend existing black wiers in the panel?

I am a bit cloudy, exactly which wires are you referring to?

The large feeder wires? Should be no reason to extend those as since this is a new upgrade the feeder should be new, and long enough.

If you are referring to the branch circuit cables are too short, because the panel is in a new location, or the once the cables are in the new panel the wires that connect to the branch circuit breakers and neutral/ground wires are too short, then standard wirenuts sized to fit the amount of wires being spliced will be fine.

I am referring to the Wires in the Circuit Breaker side of the new service Meter/Panel all-in-one unit.

I believe you answered my question about splicing the internal wires, which could be spliced in a Junstion box then run into the new service panel

The main feeder wires from the Power Company pedestal will be new and hooked up by the Power Company.

    Thanks
