I have torginal flooring in my laundry room and want to remove it. Is there an way to do this without involving a hazardous waste disposal company?

What type of floor is it ? How old is it? And last of all what type of subfloor is underneath?

Epoxy floor covering is normally quite durable and resiliant. If it is still adhering to the floor, I would suggest laying your next floor over it, as it's a bear to get up if it's still in good shape.

The floor was considered more of a hazard when in it's liquid form. Once it's hardened, it's like any other epoxy. I wouldn't want to sand it, but scraping with a floor scraper is an option.

My suggestion would be to leave it if it's possible.
