My deceased exhusband still owes back child support.
My exhusband died Dec 30, 2007. He still owes back child support. Will I ever see this? He had not filed his taxes for 07 yet and the state would have intercepted the return. Am I or the State of FL considered a creaditor against his estate? It there any hope in ever seeing the money? We need it to support his/my son in college.

It is my belief that you must have an attorney file against his estate for the money he owes for child support. This is a legal way for you to get the money he owes unless his estate is zero. Good luck!

You would be the perosn with the claim on the esate, you should have an attorney file a claim in probate court against the estate. This is assuming he has an estate.
