I have a gas furnace that is not working properly. I have to reset a circuit breaker, that isn't tripped, and then open the furnace door and push the white button, to get heat to work. Woke up this morning to a 54 degree house, outside air temp. 20. Please help.

Many times the door safety switch will go bad on these units. (check the door switch with a meter to be sure it is passing voltage)

Check the 24 volt transformer to be sure it is working.

I am sure you have checked the safety switch on the side or near the furnace already but it never hurts to double check that also. I am also sure you made sure the thermostat is turned on to heat and turned up above the current temp.
