    Online Opportunities
Does anyone have experience or know something about online work? For example you update websites for companies in other countries remotely? Or write, take photographs, videos, etc..

Not doing it, but originally, I had someone in Sweden doing all of my web site design and set up. They were people we knew though another person, and there was not problem. With the internet it does not matter if you are across the street or across the ocean.

Ok but does any organisations or SMEs outsource this type of work?

The answer's yes - you might check out the Outsourcing Institute for general information. If you're looking for freelance sites to connect with projects, check out Guru, Elance, and RentACoder. All are reputable sites, and free (however, you really do need a paid membership at Elance and Guru to get the good projects if you're a provider).

It seems like this site is becoming a billboard for shameless advertizing

Reminds me of commercials and info-mercials that litter the media

Makes you appreciate the open spaces not cluttered billboards

I too question this post. As a moderator I will remove anything I see that is blatant advertising. I don't see any of that in this thread. Links were provided that have a direct bearing on the question asked.
