Like many other archiving applications, WinRAR allows a set of compressed files to be split up into multiple archives (or "volumes", using WinRAR's terminology).

In all likelihood, when you are extracting the .rar file, it is looking for the next volume in the set - generally they will be named with extensions like .001, 002, etc. If you did not receive these volumes/files from your original source, then you may not be able to properly unarchive the RAR file... Perhaps you should revisit the source and look for any extra volumes that you can use.

If this information is unclear, or does not match your scenario, please update this post with more detail from your side - i.e. where you got the .rar file from; how you are attempting to open it; the *exact* error message, etc.

    Hope this helps!
