1999 Dodge Ram Dash Falling apart
My dash is also falling apart. Truck has been well taken care of. Don't understand this. Where do I start, as to replacing it? I don't like the covers, I want a dash! Thanks.

What do you mean "falling apart"? To replace the entire dash is a very involved process including removing and reinstalling the airbag, best left to a pro! There are a lot of parts that clip onto the dash though, if they are just working loose, it could be as simple as replacing some clips, I have a 2000 Ram and had a problem with the bezel around the gauges rattling. I re moved it (a handful of screws and a swift tug) and rebent a few of the metal clips, good as new.

Can you put a silicone or glue in crack and then paint it after it dries? Just an idea.

That might work... alot of long cracks though... I have read a lot of complaints on dodge dashes.. just worried about the air bag on passangers side when replaced. Thanks
