My 3 year old does not talk in sentences
    Hi,

My son is 3 years old and he stills speaks in 2 words, he is not talking in sentences. He can understand what I speak and follows my small instructions. He has no hearing problems. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Neena

Any brothers or sisters? Use picture books and read to him a lot.

You should read to him A LOT. If he understands everything you say, you should ask him to repeat what you say, (like talking classes). Don't give up! Im sure he will start talking soon

When he wants something try and make him ask for it in a more complete sentences.
Like if he wants a cookie don't let him just point and say cookie.

I have to ask also if there are any older siblings. Many times they tend to do the "talking" for the younger one.

He is still young... You have had his hearing checked, and that is fine, so you just have to give him time. When he wants juice, make him repeat after you "juice please" or "I want a cookie"

Many times children like this are good listeners then one day BAM they are talking in paragraphs. My son was like that, he's now 5, and I can't get him to slow down. LOL
