Network Adapter missing, shows it in Hidden devices?
Network Adapter missing, shows it in Hidden devices?
I was trying to connect my two pcs which forced me to install some network administrator programs (which I uninstalled immediately) still I was unable to connect my pcs so after four days of try I once again shut my PC down. Today evening when I started up the PC again, the network monitors (which blinks when connected) were gone. When I tried to login to internet account using cable net it gave error 769 or something saying that network is disconnected. I went to device manager and found no Network adapter when I checked "Show Hidden Items" it showed "Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection - Packet Scheduler Miniport"

I tried to uninstall it but it says "Failed to uninstall the Device - Device may be required to bootup the computer"

I searched over the internet for the solution of the problem but all related questions are subject to one dissimilarity in my condition. They all state that their network is still working whereas mine is not.

I tried to install driver from the cd which created the same PRO/100 driver with #2 and it also installed "Intel(R) PRO/100 Network Connection"

This one is without the "Packet Scheduler miniport" with it.

    Any Help?
