There is no cold water coming out of my shower only hot? What could be causing this?

Check to see if it has a watare shut off vale and is it open. Check the handle. Is it a one or two handle water system.is the cold one defective. Is there a crimp in a water line.
Is it a shower tube or just a shower. Good luck. Most things can be fixed by you.
