    How do you hook up the washing machine drain hose directly to p trap under kitchen sink?

    If the sink backs up every time the washer drains then you have a partial blockage downstream of the sink and discharging the washer into the sink trap will just give you another back up. The solution is to snake out the drain line from the sinks roof vent. Put out enough cable to reach the base and 20 feet more. Good luck, Tom

    ta2man, I am confused by your post. The title says one things but your question is a different question. Are you asking how to make the connect or how to get rid of the back up? Tom has given you the soultion to the ladder.
