3rd fuel filter in a month. Why?
    I have a 1990 dodge power ram w/150 extended cab long bed, with a 5.2 liter v8
I have given it a full tune up, plugs, dist. cap, pcv valve, and air filter. This month I've put 2 fuel filters on my truck and am going to put another one on in the morning. When the filter starts to go, I can't get any power out of the truck, of course. Aamco transmissions told me my fuel lines from the pump had the proper pressure. And my cat is only a little dirty. Something's got to be going on in my gas tank. I think:confused:

P.S. my check engine light is on, and gives me a code 37 tourq converter clutch solinoide my truck is an automatic

Does it look like rust? Could be your fuel tank rusting?
Have you changed where you fill your tank? Try a different gas station.
