    What is the equivlant of a gas furnace output compared to electric
    We currently have 115 BTU gas furnace with an useable output of 85 BTU. What electric equivlant?

    1 KilowattHour = 3,412 BTU

    Looks like almost 25KW. You will go bankrupt heating your house with electric.

    You should not need a electric furnace that big to heat your home because you really cannot use a gas BTU conversion because your furnace is probably to big for your house to start with.

    No a heat pump and a electric furnace will be cheaper.

    Do a Google for that information. To many variables for me to calculate.
