    Hiya All
    Has anyone seen this before? Went into Media Player, scrolling down my music and saw track "virfound" hadn't seen this before so clicked on it. "Stephen Hawkins" type voice said "Caution a virus has been detected". I got rid of it, but couldn't find it again, went into search and this turned up. "virfound in folder F:Alwill Software\Avast4\English" Got shut and scanned with AV "NTL Netguard" plus "Kaspersky" did "AdAware" and "Spybot" found nothing. Hope someone can enlighten me, thanks. DavidB

    Is it Microsoft Media Player? If so, what version?

    Also, what type of file is "virfound" (.mpg, mp3, etc.)?

    There's nothing to worry about as this is a sound file used by Avast when a virus is discovered.
    Your search found the install path for it

    Thanks Curleyben and rickj for your replies. Haven't used Avast for a long, while now, so I don't know how long that's been in my library. Media player 9 rick, didn't see what format, did say Size 214,370 bytes, Modified 28/06/2005.
