    Where is the Fuel Filter in a 2001 Nissan Altma GXE located.

    Also, will a bad Catalyic Converter cause low miles per gallon.

    Not unless it is quite clogged. The converter is for expending unburned fuel after it exits the engine but before it exits the exhaust.
