I need to know if there is a way to get pics off a wet cell phone, it comes on and makes call but I can't see the screen very well its real dark, the memory is still there

This sounds really silly, but I heard about it about a year ago and recently used it on my daughter's cell phone because she dropped it in the toilet after taking a shower, and we don't have insurance on her phone.

Take the battery out, immerse it in a bowl of uncooked rice for 48 or more hours, including the battery. The rice will absorb any moisture and the cell phone will work fine again.

I am my daughter's heroine now. LOL
