    I have a MP3 player -- Xmas Present
    I tried to install the drivers on a MP3 player -- have a problem

    It shows that the player is plugged in but will not show in the

    Drives that are listed -- should be E: removable drive...

    I have tried to Reinstall Drivers -- remove and install drivers

    Get an error code 28 -- Drivers not installed??

    Any way to repair this -- do I need to return to JC PENNY

    First go to device manager and look for any red or yellow signs, right click errors and choose uninstall. When everything does not have errors close system properties and go to control panel and add/remove programs and uninstall anything you installed that came with your mp3 player. Have mp3 unplugged and reatart computer

    When system is ready plug in your mp3 and wait till messeage comes up that new hardware found. Then put in SW that came with mp3 and go through the install from there
    When done, close everything and reatart PC with mp3 attached.

    Called customer service and got poor response --
    Took 2 days to get the answer I needed

    They will send a Number so I can
    Return it to the store for exchange
