To begin with, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary (disorder/disease)) is a blanket term that can include asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, etc.
Until you know EXACTLY what your particular ailment is it is hard to say how long the meds will take to work, what meds will work.
Are you seeing a pulmonologist? If not, I would suggest a referral to one in your area.
I have seen a pulmonologist... who did say I have a mild form of asthma... who later on said I had COPD so from what you say both statements are correct. I have a further referrel to an asthma specialist so from that I should be able sum it up. I really do not care for the notion of going from a mild form of asthma to COPD is that mot one extreme to the other?Quote:
