I am unable to download attachment in one computer and cannot upload in another. Computer just hangs there forever. One computer is located home using cable (can't upload attachment) and the other is located @ work using dsl (can't download attachment). Any one know what is wrong? I think it has to deal with the ip configuration or the network set up or something... Home currently usus avas antivirus and kerio personal firewall with windows media center and work uses xp pro, macfee antivirus and no firewall.

    Downloading
    Hi,
My reply to this is in the form of "troubleshooting" downloading... that is, it might not actually solve the issue, but it's worth a try.
If you can't download, it could be that so many temp files are full, and other memory, including caches, cookies, URL's, etc, are actually stopping your downloads. It has happened before with XP, over a period, when files are cleaned out.
If you wish to try it, Ccleaner is free, and will clear out all these temp files, folders, etc, that you really don't need anymore. It does work better than the Windows Disk Cleaner.
    It's available at:
    http://www.ccleaner.com

Also, I use Outlook Express. If you mean you can't download attachments through your email from yahoo/hotmail, you might check this:
Open your email program, then click on Tools, Options, then click on the Security tab.
If the phrase "Do not allow attachments to be saved....." is checked, then left click on it to uncheck it, then click on Apply, and OK.
I wish you the best of luck.
