    No lease eviction
In the Kenton County, Kentucky. If there is no lease on a rental, how does a landlord evict a tenant who has stopped paying rent. I did give them a five day notice to pay rent or vacate. The tenant did not pay rent or vacate.

You will go to either the court house or the sheiff office. Each county has their own place, in TN we went to the sheriff office, in GA we go to the court house. But you file for legal eviction, they will serve the tenant and set a court date, at that hearing you will present your evidence and then the judge sets a date they have to be out in. They can present reasons they should be allowed to stay if they show up.

If you are going to be in the rental business, ( owning even one rental house) hire an attorney even by the hour and let him tell you all of the landlord laws and rules, maybe even have him set up some standard forms you can use in the future.

    Hello e:

You must go by your states landlord tenant law. We have a copy right here for your perusal at the top of the real estate page on a "sticky note".
