OK so here's the deal, known this girl for about 6 months now. We get on great, we make each other laff, we get on perfect, she's amazing. But yep you guessed it she's got a boyfriend, but there is hope. They have been going out for about 8 months now and she loves him. No doubt about that. But this guy, sometimes he treats her like crap, and she knows it, she always tells me how he's a to her. But when they argue, because she loves him so much, he dus something to make her give him another last chance. (so far there have been about 4 last chances) and she usually says she just doesn't have the heart to end it because she loves him so much. Being the "caring friend" that I am, I give her impartial advice such as "only u can decide if he's worth it" when inside I'm screaming "dump him, i love you". I know I would be so much better for her than him, and actually he's said I would be as well in a "one day you'll realise im bad for you" sympathy hunting moment. PLEASE HELP. I can't say I know what love is, I'm 18, but DAM does it hurt sometimes :(

Yes it does, but even if they break up it would be unrealistic, and not to healthy to expect she would jump into a relationship with you. She may not be ready that soon, and no telling if she sees you in a romantic way or ever will. You're a friend so just be one. That's better than being a rebound for hurt feelings. Protect your emotions and give up the expectations of something more with this female for now, Balance your life with more people than just her.

I've been in this one before. If you become her girlfriend, you will never be her boyfriend because you entered the friend zone and she won't look at you in that way.

What I did was made myself distant. Then if she likes you she will miss you and eventually start seeking you out. But no more discussing her relationship problems with her.

Just say, "look, honestly, I'm tired of talking about him, he's not good for you. If you were smart, you would date a guy like me."

Then stay distant.

"she's got a boyfriend". She might as well have told you she is married. Keep looking.

If u really love her waite for her! If u don't waite for her or do something to get with her then u don't love her. My idea to get with her would be to just tell her what u posted here.
