Fatherly rights if another man signed the cert?
    Hey all,

I recently found out that the woman that I am dating, and was engaged to, is interested in moving from OH to AL to have a Veteran raise our child with her because he was injured and can't have his own children, and to have me out of the child's life.

I have a few questions. Firstly, if she is still pregnant, I know that I am not allowed to keep her from leaving the state, but once the child is born, and she is in fact living out of state, am I (Or the State of Ohio) able to move her back here for the case, or would it take place in AL?

Secondly, if she has the other man sign the birth certificate, what can I do to maintain paternal rights? I know that I have to have a paternity test, but what else would I have to do?

Thanks in advance, that is all that I can think of right now.

I am confused; sorry. You are dating a woman? And, she is pregnant? How do you know you are the father?

The paternity test would be the main thing. It would have to be done wherever she's living at the time of birth.
