    Christmas Gift Game ?
What are the rules for the Christmas gift game where everyone brings a gift and then one person opens one. Then the next opens a gift and can trade with the first and so on - I remember the general idea but haven't done it in awhile - We are doing this Christmas Eve with family and it was my idea but now I am uncertain of the rules!
    Any help appreciated!

Okay, as far as I can remember... All gifts are placed into a pile. Each member of the party picks a number. 1 goes first, 2 goes second, and so on...

Now, any gift that is open is up for the taking. Meaning if #1 opened a gift that #5 would like to have, #5 goes and gets that gift from #1, at this time #1 is free to choose a new gift.

The gifts can be exchanged 3 times only before they are no longer allowed to be picked by anyone else.

Here is another one that is LOADS of fun... It's called the Right Family Christmas...

My family does that every year. Everyone has to buy a 10 dollar gift and you wrap it up and have fun with it. Put small things in big boxes and stuff. Then everyone takes a number out of a hat and that is other order we go in. #1 chooses the item he wants and then #2. But instead of picking a number, #2 can steal #1's present and that is how it works with #3 and so on. Then who ever gets their present taken gets to rechoose one, and can steal from another person but not the one they stole from.
