Leaky Sink Valve & No Hot Water
I just bought my house and it is a 1985 construction. All of the hot water works in the house except for the upstairs bathroom sink in the master bedroom  . The hot water in the tub works great but nothing but cold water comes out of the sink if you turn either knob. In addition, the cutoff valve under the sink leaks a little. Help me please!!

Sounds like your faucet has some crud blocking the inlet ports in the cartridge. Shut the water off, pull the cartridge and check and clean the inlet ports. Before you button up turn the water back on to flush out the supplies and valve body. As for that leaky angle stop, Open the valve up so it starts to leak, now snug upthe nut on the stem until it stops. Do not over tighten. Good luck, Tom
