    Ethyl glucuronide test
I had to be have a drug test, I was told after the test that I tested negative for alcohol, drugs etc, although I had had a couple of beers at a restaurant the night before and it was at least 18 hours prior to the test. I knew I was going to be positive for the test for alcohol use they where using a test that would tell me if I had a drink within 80 hours. I did some research and found that ethyl glucuronide was stored and concentrated in the gall bladder, I do not have a gall bladder, could this be the reason I passed?

Actually, the reason is that you do not have a brain. This is a fairly common condition, however and there is no reason to be alarmed.

No... the presence of ETG is not directly correlated to the fact that your gall bladder has been removed. Remember, this is a metabolite and that the GB is an excretory channel. But, the creqted metabolite has to go somewhere. Next time try a large dose of E Coli previous to your test and chances are about 1 in 4 that you'll pass with "flying colors", no pun intended:D
