How to handle false reports to CPS
Does anyone know what to do when people are making false reports to CPS? Is there anything that I can do to stop this? Is there any kind of legal action that I can take towards this person for slander or anything?

You have to just keep proving yourself and proving they are doing it for spite.
Then they will close the case as unfounded and you should ask them to put a note on your case that these people are purposely harassing you. They keep names confidential but if it becomes a real problem and has to go through any legal action I think they do have to release the names at that point.

    Hello k:

Sure, you can sue them. I don't know if it will be harassment, slander, or intentional infliction of emotional distress... But, your lawyer will.

Yes you can... find you a attroney for children's rights... they can find out who called and what the actual report says cause cps invest will only tell you little bits of it then use the rest against you... also go and file a report with your local police for harassment on cps work and the person that made the report... you will have to go in front of a judge but 95% of the time the 1 that made the report never shows up to court for the fact the lied and they will get jail time... best of luck... go prove them wrong...
