How do I lighting my dyed blue black hair ?
I'm an 18 year old girl with hair issues, (yeah same old story). My natural hair color was dark brown, but at the age of 16, I bought my first hair color. It was a kind of red/dark brown color. (Not too pretty), Then I dyed it a plum color, and kept dying it every time it faded. I got so sick of dying my hair so much , I just bought a blue black hair dye and dyed it that color. NOW I HATE IT ! I just want my hair to be a nice ash brown color, to go with my complextion, because my dark hair is making me look sick and pale.

First of all I don't want to bleach my hair, that will so mess it up big time !
Second of all I heard that hydrogen peroxide lightings up your hair, it's that true?

    And third I need help.

I want a change. And I just want to stick with one color I would be happy with.

P.S. I know my hair will take a while to change my blue black dyed hair into a light brown color, but please can someone give me some tips on how to at least lighten it up ?

Thank you so much for taking your time and reading this :)

Sweetie, in order to go from blue/black to light brown, you will need to pre-lighten your hair to level that's lighter than light brown and then apply the desired color. Anything other than that will result in a brassy color.
