I am 3cm 60% effaced +1 almost +2 station, I was told that on Friday, which was five days ago. I am just wondering, since the baby is so low and his head is already that low, would him sitting in that position too long cause him distress? I mean that's pretty low and I'm STILL not having contractions, no bloody show, and no water breaking. Will the baby be okay being in that station for awhile? I see my doctor early tomorrow morning so obviously I'll find out more but just wondering about what others have to say. Thanks

Yes, hun, he'll be fine in that position for a while. Distress is usually caused by things other than position.

If your doctor is not worried, neither should you be. Please keep me posted on your progress. You may want to ask the doc tomorrow whether he thinks induction may be a possibility.

Lol k good. I was getting worried that if I sat for too long I would be squishing his poor little head. I really would prefer to not be induced, but if I got to do it, then I got to do it. I'll see what's going on today. THanks

Why would you rather not be induced? Sometimes it is better for baby than waiting. With you as far along as you are, induction should be considered.
