I only know one small scene that keeps coming up in documentaries about the history of cinema. It is some sort of an "underground orgy". I thought it could be Griffith's INTOLERANCE, but I watched it and although it resembles it that's not it. It might be one of his other films I don't know. So do you know what it is? It must have been made in the same period at least because the type of picture is very similar. The shot I remember was one taken a bit from up and you had hundreds on extras just like in Intolerance this is why I thought it could be it but it's not. There was something devilish about it but I might be wrong this is why I said "underground" it seemed as if the characters were engaging in forbidden lust in a dark underworld kingdom.

"underground orgy" I remember movie kind of like that but it was teenagers(not really teenager) but they got left behind on a school fill trip, and it was like 7/9 of them. The fall in a cave and they teens started talking about sex stories and there was a fat guy in the film who didn't share a story because he was a virgin and everybody but the fat guy was doing "underground orgy". And the fat guy just beat his meant lmao and made a loud noise which cause the crave to crack and they were find the next day. Nope , that's not it. The one u are suggesting seems like a more recent movie. The one I am looking for is reallllyyyyyyyy old, maybe like one of the first movies ever made:) The characters were well over 50 and all wearing clothes that reflect a certain civilization something like greek , roman or something like that maybe a bit oriental . Anyway thanks for trying:)

Here are a few early epic films set in the Roman era you might look up: Ben Hur (1926), Sign of the Cross (1932), Cleopatra (1934). There are a lot in the 1940s-1950s, but they're all color talkies.
