    Probation Violation- VA
My boyfriend was arrested on 10/23/07 at while he was at work (on his job) by officers who said he has violated his probation. He has gone through appointment of counsel and his revocation hearing is set for 01/09/08. He has been in jail this whole time. His original charge was in 07/2005 for Grand Larceny and he has 3 years hanging over his head. He absconded from probation 12/2005 and they have just now arrested him. Since he absconded he has had no further charges. Will the fact he was arrested at work have any leaning on the judge? Does anyone have any idea what he will be sentenced to? We have hired an attorney but I wanted some other feedback.. Thank you!

Judge will never know or care where he was arrested, he could have been naked in the barn, just does not matter.

Since he just failed to do his probation, it is doubtful he will be given another chance on probation, unless his judge is in a good mood. Most likely he will be sent to prison for the remainder of his sentence
