Custody of heart broken 7 year old girl
My daughter and I have an amazing relationship. I am extremely fortunate to be the father of such a wonderful child. She has started inquiring about living with me. Her mother and I (obviously divorced) have no support or custody agreements through the court. It sound egotistical, but I am very easy to get along with when it comes to making my daughter's life a happier one. Her desire to live with me has intensified over the past month or two. I would love nothing better than to have my daughter with me full time. What are my chances and what can I do to prove to the court that her best interest are served if she is living with me. Thanks for your time.

Why not sit down with you ex, no children present, and talk to her about it. If both you and your daughter feel it would be worth a try, maybe she will too. Keep in mind that the mom, in this case is the disciplinarian. She has to make the kid brush her teeth and do her homework. You, on the other hand are the fun and games person, right? It isn't a popularity contest. What is best for your daughter?

Well as you said that you're easy to get along with and want to do whatever is in the best intrust of your daughter then just sit down and talk to your ex without getting into the whole court thing. Court is such a long process and it's a pain in the to go through, Your daughter is seven and when a girl hits around that age she see's her friends with there fathers and want to be just like them it's the "stage" of where "daddy's little girl" begins.

    Hope everything works out.
    Good luck,

    Jenny

Being only 15 I don't know much about divorce, I get the whole "I'll tell you when your older" speech. But my parents divorced when I was 2years old and my father gained custody when I was about 6.

I wish I could tell you more but I honestly don't know anymore.
So I wish you the best of luck.
