    High Water Pressure
My TP valve on the water heater keeps leaking. I have replaced it and it still leaks. I have an expansion tank on the system. The tank has 65 lbs of air pressure in it. When the water is on, the tank pressure build up over 120 lbs which causes the TP valve on the water heater to relieve the pressure.
    1. Should the pressure regulator on the house at the meter prevent this pressure from building up so high?
2 If not, what can I do to stop this problem?

Your PRV valve isn't doing its job, Replace it. Good luck, Tom
