    What are tweeters
I would like to know what tweeters are and do I need them for my sound sysytem

I have two 15in SPL subs and a two channel 1200W SPL amp
I am soon to be getting a bigger amp so I can run more RMS to my subs

Can anyone inform me of what tweeters are and if I need them?

Wish my little brother was here. I hear him talking about that stuff a lot, but I am afraid you know more about it than I do.

Tweeter are usually dedicated to reproducing the "high's", woofer's the "low's", and midrange... well, everything that's between.
    Yes, tweeters are necessary.
They may be built in to what you already have.

They may be... they will be more noticeable if moved away from other speakers.
