Help! I went off the birth control pill a little over two months ago. I had my period last month normal, although it was 7 days late. Almost two weeks ago I had light spotting - I noticed that I was bleeding before I went to bed, and thought it was the start of my period, like normal. I woke up the next morning - nothing. Since then, I have not had my period at all. I am now 9 days late. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests - all three negative. I took the most recent one on Friday, my 7th day late. I have had some cramping and headaches, as normal. But I still haven't started my period. Could it be the change in my system from going off birth control? Could I still be pregnant? Please help! :confused:

Yes, it could from you going off your birth control pills. Birth control pills pretty much dictate your hormone levels, and once you are off it, your body will try to find its own natural cycle.

Have you changed your diet lately? New exercise program? Stressed lately? Gain/lose a lot of weight in the past few weeks? All these things could also affect your cycle.

I know you are panicking as of right now, but if your last test said negative, take 2 - 3 days, take another test. See what you get.
