    Custody and visitation
Hi, My name is Christie. Can anyone help me? I left my husband to go to Tennessee to see family and like a fool decided to stay and divorce my husband. He filed in California knowing I could not afford to fight for our son. He kept on and on that I was too poor to raise two little boys by myself. One was his and the other was a former boyfriends. I was so lost and confused... I agreed to let him take him for a while so I could get on my feet... (dumb) but He made me in to signing a paper from California, That I thought said that he had legal right to do what needed to be done in California. I really trusted him. We had been friends and lovers forever it seemed and he never gave me no right to distrust him. Later I found out that it really gave him Total Custody with no visitation and no support. The paper stated I had 0 rights to contact my son by phone or mail. He lets me call him and send him packages. I am moving to Ca. cause I can't take it anymore I miss and want my son. Can I get visitation or anything with him? And when I move can he up and move out of state.

You will need to get an attorney, the paper work does not sound legal to me, since almost no courts, esp California would allow you to give up custody and not still have to pay chid support. So you need to find out what court he filed those papers in, ( if they were ever actually filed)

But you will have to file in court to modify the current custody order ( what ever the order really is) to allow you visits.
