Washer overflows and drains into heating vent
Help my washer overflowed and water drained into the heating unit via vent. What can I do to fix it? Will it hurt my heating system if water gets in it?

Water is not supposed to get in there but if you can take a wet and dry vac ans suck out the lower compartment if it is a up flow furnace. I would also let the blower only run for a couple of hours to try and dry it out.
