I need a bit more info from you Nick. Are your looking for redi-mix delivered to your site or are you mixing the concrete in your own mixer. If it's a delivery you have to call a redi-mix company because ratse vary depending on job site location. It is around $75 to $100 for a 6 bag mix.

Also, in our neck of the woods with the rise in fuel cost you must now order a minimum of 4 cu yds of concrete. That means if you need 2 cu yds, you still are going to have to pay for 4 cu yds. So, if your project doesn't meet the minimum order size, make you another concrete pad in the yard for a patio, or just a pad to use for working on equipment. The minimum order for years had been 3 cu yds, but now for us in our part of TN it has gone up to 4 cu yd minimum order. Call your concrete supplier is the only way to get the accurate cost. Also, I prefer fiber mesh mix if it is not to be a smooth slick finish, but for a driveway it is fine, and the fiber that sticks up at the end wear of soon enough. Also, depending on the temperature, you may need to add calcium to the concrete to keep it from freezing and cracking during the curing process. So be sure and ask the supplier what they would recommend on your delivery date.

Yep, I agree, the fiber cement is stronger and will last longer with less cracking, very little cost increase. The driver will deteremine the weather conditions on site and can add calcium as needed.
