White Rogers Hot Water Control Valve Turns on But Not off
I have a hot water heating system with three zones. This past summer all three control valves were replace, old ones were leaking, and three new thermostats installed I don't think the system ever worked after the installation but it was summer and we weren't using the heat. The new control valves are white rogers flow control valves and the new thermostats are ritetemp 8050c. According to the installation guide for the ritetemp thermostats zoned motor valves three wire (pwr, valve on, valve off) should be connected to RH, W, A respectively. O.K. the problem, two of the zones work great, the third zone tuns on but not off? Each zone starts the boiler and pump but again the third zone never turns off. I had a service tech out and he said I needed a 24v 40va transformer and that would fix the problem. I replaced the older 24v 20va transformer but with no luck. I'm stumped? Please help!
