Hi, I'm 23 years old, I started my first peirod after after having my 3 month old baby 12 days ago-I had an emergency c-section and breast fed for 4 weeks-and on the first day of my period I started taking ovranette.Is it the pill that is causing my long period, a heavy craving to eat junk food and depression?I did use to get depresed anyway with my periods before I had my baby-I need some good advice on some good birth control for me because hormonal doesn't seem to be agreeing with me?! :( can anyone help me with my problem?? x

After I had my daughter I got on the pill and had insame mood swings but that was it. But I switched from the pill to the nuvaring and it seems to make the period shorter and lighter and no major changes for me maybe give that a try.
