    Criterion II Furnace Flame sensor
    My furnace will not turn on at all. I try resetting the thermostat but it still will not work. I checked some of the troubleshooting website and they said that the flame sensor.

    If the furnace will not turn on at all I would check the power supply going to the furnace first. Then check the 24 volts from the transformer located in the furnace itself.

    I check my 24 volts from the transformer in the furnace and its on. The PWR and the OK light is on too. And I get nothing

    The air coming in through the floor vent could be too cold and the thermocouple does not sense the glow plug. I put aluminum as a partial cover over the floor vent so the cold air does not go directly on the thermocouple. Kind of like a air scoop with the opening away from the thermocouple. Leave an opening so air does come in. Otherwise clean the thermocouple with Emory cloth.
