I am late all the time I have polycystic ovarian disease. I started my period today and it is really bright pink and has been most the day. I don't know if this is normal or not and would like to know. I am 23 and never had a period like this. Please help me find out about this. I am not on birth control and have had three kids and two miscarrages, do have my tubes tied.

I had the same thing. Didn't stop me from leading a normal life. It sure hasn't stopped you :-)
I don't understand your last sentence, though, do you have your tubes tied?

The color doesn't play much part in all this. Depends on what you drank before menstruating. If you had alcohol or aspirin it would make it seem lighter and more in quantity. The first days usually are lighter than the last days as well. It's not anything to worry about. If it persists and it worries you, better talk to your doctor he can tell you for sure. Better safe than sorry :-)
