    Theft light
    I have a 1998 ford escort where there is a theft light that keeps flashing for no reason at all can anybody explain the problem and if there would be any problem driving the car while it is doing this, so far the car has been fine and its been flashing for a few days

    Everything is probably okay--it should flash to deter thieves, when the ignition is turned off and the key is removed.

    But it stays on even when car is running
