Ask Me Help Desk - Should I give up or patient!

Hi,

I have been with this girl for 1.5 years. We did really have good and bad times. But her issues is that she is super jealous. I suggested her to take a break and let things cool down. She went insane. But we still talked and hung out. She still kept saying that she loved me and stuff but that make me really confused since she has changed at all about her jealousy. And the major reason was that I have to go to cali for school next jan. And we both didn't believe in the long distance relationship. But she told me we could be still together until I leave.
Until last month before thanksgiving week, I got back from cali (trip). She called me and asked meet-up at her apartment. We did have good time. She cried so much. She told me "I would wait for you 2 years. You would do whatever to have fun. Hang out with any girls to kill time." I felt like I loved her so much. But that is not fair for her.
I left for week. And I called her up. And now she told me that she was done with me. I should not call her anymore. I was too emotional and came and asked her. She now told me that she had a boyfriend. She really liked him. She said she would wait for me for 2 years but she need to move on. But what she did was that she hided. She didn't tell me until I really came and talked to her but still even tried to hide me. I let my emotion control me and begged her. Really bad! She said "nope i'm done with u. it's too late!"
10 days after NC, she called me up. After short conversation, I told her I got to go and would call her back. She was like "you don't have to call me back." And she texted me right after that "there is person willing take care of kiki (our puppy) thanks for the offer. have a good nite... i mean... have a good life... psycho." she has a trip back to her hometown next week.
I texted her 2 days later "that's good. i wouldn't have much time to take care of her (puppy) anyway." She called me rite back and kept yelling at me and called me "assho..." She has been tracking on my myspace and asked if I moved on. And brought up her boyfriend really nice to her. Iwas like I'm happy for u. And I told her I got to go and called her latere. She gave me same cold answe "have fun. you do't have to call me back. "
3 weeks living in hell. I never miss her so much like this. Should I give up and move on or because I didn't give her too much attention, she was disappointed and was just testing me?
Please inform me something.

You did the right thing about being civil, but right now she's trying to get over you to prove that she's willing to wait and its backfiring up on her because she thinks you probably bought it? [Did You?]

It's a tough thing to deal with, my boyfriend is going into the Marine Corp soon and I'm staying here for college and we're gonna make it work. but it just depends on who you are and what you believe in, so I hope this gave you some help?:D

This girl sounds crazy, I would move on.

Thanks for the advice. I was really emotional but I kept it inside. I told her don't be like that and move on. But she was like "no I can't."

Now I believe that doesn't matter how far you go. If you guys really have strong feeling to each other, it won't break. That's what I believe rite now. Best wish to yours!

I think I misunderstood your sentence. So what you really mean? She is using another guy to prove me that she is willing to wait for me or get over me??

You both know its over, so what the heck are you doing. All this drama is so unnecessary, and you both need to quit. Can't you hug and say goodbye, and leave it alone? Neither of you knows how to let go, and that's eactly what you need to do.
