Okay so today me and my boyfriend to put it bluntly had sex. And well we did use a condom and I had just started taking my pill again after a months break this morning. But when we had sex the condom split without us knowing and he ejaculated inside of me. I just want to know if my pill will have been effective. And also I should be due for my period in a week with out pill... Am I in with a chance to be pregnant?:confused:

My wife was told by her doctor that it takes about a week for the pill to become effective, so there may be a chance that you are pregnant.

If you are ovulating, and it does sound as though you are right around the ovulation stage, it is very possible you got pregnant.

The pill is not effective hours after taking it. It is suggested that a second form of birth control be used during the first month of taking the pill.

Due in one week with a period-if you are dead-on menstral cycle that is if you have a constantly predictable cycle to the day every month-i'd say you are possibly safe, you are a week outside of ovulation . You perhaps need the morning after pill if you don't want to be pregnant.
