    Washer backing up into tub
My washing machine has begun to back up when on the rinse cycle into my tub and sometimes my toilets and kitchen drains also make a gurgling sound. There is no huge overflow and after the washer is finished all the water left in the tub drains out fine. But what is causing this? I am a single parent with a limited income and hope very much that it is something that can be fixed without costing a lot of money. How can this be remedied?

Thanks so much for any input and help.

Amy, this is the part where you ask god to send someone and ask god to send the money too. If ye ask not ye receive not.
You have a main line clog that will require a large electric sewer machine that you are unable to use. It also may be roots. If so, this would require replacement of some or all of your piping. Be bold. Post on craigslist that you need a plumber that needs to donate work for tax purposes, or for that matter, just to help you out.
